    Unfortunately, Hunters will have to open their wallets to expand their Item Box. It is important to note that you will still receive the rewards for leveling up your Hunter Rank even if the storage limit is reached and that other items, such as swords, armor, and potions, have their own individual limits.<\/p>\n

    What Happens When Storage Limit is Reached in MHN?<\/h3>\n

    You will receive a red notification on your Item Box in Monster Hunter Now once your material storage is at its limit. Once this happens, you will not be able to perform the following actions:<\/p>\n

    • Hunting Large monsters (Field, Paintball, Urgent quests)<\/li>\n
    • Hunting Small monsters<\/li>\n
    • Collecting from Gathering Points (small\/large)<\/li>\n
    • Receiving Quest rewards<\/li>\n
    • Receiving the contents of the Palico bag<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      We suggest discarding unwanted material and upgrading some items to clear space.<\/p>\n

      What is the Maximum Monster Hunter Now Storage Upgrade?<\/h3>\n

      You can purchase 10 Item Box Expansions (500) and one Item Box Expansion (5,000), so the maximum material storage upgrade you can have is 15,000. The baseline storage allows you to carry 5,000 items and materials.<\/p>\n

      Can I Upgrade Storage in Monster Hunter Now For Free?<\/h3>\n

      No, there is currently no way to upgrade your inventory storage in Monster Hunter Now for free or just by playing the game. You will have to open your wallet. However, the developers have, in the past, provided players with one free x500 Item Box Expansion for those who installed and logged into the Monster Hunter Now app on Android or iOS before 25 September 2023.<\/p>\n
