The spooky season has arrived, and the release of one of the biggest survival horror games of the year, Alan Wake 2<\/a>, is looming on the horizon. Remedy’s sequel has been 13 years in the making, but the long wait ends on 27 October 2023.<\/p>\n

The hype aside, Alan Wake 2 is shaping up to be a visual spectacle and will be released only on current-gen consoles and PCs. Now, just days before its launch, the studio has officially revealed the game’s PC requirements, which look quite demanding.<\/p>\n

As mentioned above, Alan Wake 2 is shaping up to be one of the best-looking games of the current generation, which is why these demanding specs make a lot of sense. <\/p>\n

Like most current games, an SSD is a mandatory requirement for running Alan Wake 2, and players will need to set aside a whooping 90 GB of space on their systems.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, to run the game at the highest settings at 4K with raytracing enabled, players are going to need an RTX 4080 GPU or Ryzen 7  3700X. It’s no slouch, but thankfully, there are a ton of different graphics options available, and even cards like RTX 2060 and Radeon RX 6600 can run Alan Wake 2 at the lowest settings.<\/p>\n
