{"id":5596,"date":"2020-06-10T22:09:48","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T22:09:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/21-savage-allows-trainwreck-to-use-his-songs-while-streaming-on-twitch"},"modified":"2024-07-20T13:55:48","modified_gmt":"2024-07-20T13:55:48","slug":"21-savage-allows-trainwreck-to-use-his-songs-while-streaming-on-twitch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/streams\/21-savage-allows-trainwreck-to-use-his-songs-while-streaming-on-twitch","title":{"rendered":"21 Savage gives Trainwreck permission to use his songs while streaming on Twitch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are following Twitch streaming scene regularly, during the last few days you might have noticed this whole situation happening around&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/twitch\/twitch-streamers-are-getting-dmca-strikes-and-suspensions-for-playing-songs-up-to-three-years-ago\" target=\"_blank\">DMCA strikes and 24-hour suspensions<\/a> over some old Twitch clips with copyrighted music.<\/p>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_974134\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_334615\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<p>Twitch updated its Terms of Service in regards to music, and now streamers simply won&#8217;t be able to listen to copyrighted music anymore while streaming, something that was, until recently, a big part of &#8220;chilling with streamers&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"trainwreck 21 savage\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/AKfal2-NQTEclZfvuGavQ7HBrzGKtvi0XbCuWKW8d90\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL05pa29sYV9TYXZpJUM0JTg3L3RyYWlud3JlY2tzdHYuanBn\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 338px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size:11px;\">Trainwreck&nbsp;started streaming in 2015 (Picture:&nbsp;trainwrecks)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>And while many are in a panic as they attempt&nbsp;to delete&nbsp;clips which contain copyrighted music,&nbsp;others simply can&#8217;t imagine their stream without the music they love and are trying to find a solution.<\/p>\n<p>One of them is&nbsp;Tyler &#8220;Trainwreckstv&#8221; Niknam,&nbsp;a Twitch streamer&nbsp;with over 640,000 followers, who&nbsp;is known for his outdoor IRL streams and who usually play games such as&nbsp;Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Warzone.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more:&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/streams\/the-mountain-from-game-of-thrones-explains-how-to-get-the-ladies\" target=\"_blank\">The Mountain from Game of Thrones gives hilarious advice on how to impress women<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After this whole situation with DMCA strikes, Trainwreck contacted&nbsp;21 Savage&#8217;s representatives to get their permission to use his music on the stream. They explained to him that he would need to ask him directly for that.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"trainwreck 21 savage\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/B34rBcfgfTRWUNobjDQOypORWiHFcaw6-ydaEOU-iKo\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL05pa29sYV9TYXZpJUM0JTg3LzIxX3NhdmFnZS5QTkc\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 364px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"622\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size:11px;\">21 Savage won the award for Best Rap Song for his song &#8220;A Lot&#8221; at the 2020 Grammy Awards (Picture: 21 Savage)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Of course, that&#8217;s not exactly an easy thing to do, how can you even get yourself in a situation to contact him and ask him that? &nbsp;But he tried the only route he had on his disposal &#8211; he asked him directly via Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>And, naturally, he probably didn&#8217;t&nbsp;expect an answer even in the slightest, to call it even a long shot would be&nbsp;far-fetched.<\/p>\n<p>But then the miracle happened and&nbsp;Trainwreck got an answer.
