The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/patch-notes\">Fortnitemares patch<\/a> has brought us a lot of new Halloween-themed items and now we are getting a returning feature that encourages people to play Fortnite together.<\/p>\n<p>Although there&#8217;s a lot of excitement for what is to come in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/zero-build-staying-season-5-chapter-1-map\">Chapter 4 Season 5<\/a>, there are plenty of reasons to keep on playing the current season. The <strong>Fortnite Leaderboard in Discord<\/strong> will allow players to get unique rewards for playing with their friends. (Picture: Epic Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For those who are unaware, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortnite.com\/news\/the-fortnite-leaderboard-in-discord-returns-with-in-game-and-nitro-rewards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Fortnite Discord Leaderboards<\/a> is an extension that Discord users can add to their own servers. Players can participate and compete in a variety of different categories against other players who are on the server. But there are only a few <strong>certain dates<\/strong> when the Fortnite Discord Leaderboards will be active. Here are the dates that players should look out for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>October 24 at 9 am ET &#8211; October 27 at 7:59 pm ET<\/li>\n<li>October 27 at 8 pm ET &#8211; November 2 at 8 am ET<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Essentially, the Fortnite Discord Leaderboards are going to be available from<strong> October 24 through November 2<\/strong>. The times are split because players will get different rewards for thier participation in each different time period. The key here is to be the winner in a category in a Discord group. Players have to be at the top of the leaderboard in<strong> Victory Royales, Eliminations, Assist, Damage Dealt, Fish Caught, and Driving Distance<\/strong>. There has to be more than one participant in each category for rewards to be awarded to the winner.<\/p>\n<p>If players end up at the top for any of the categories from October 24 to October 27, they will get the <strong>Revenant Stare Spray<\/strong>. From October 27 until November 2, players will get the <strong>Eyes Mae Emoticon<\/strong>.
