Alan Wake 2‘s launch is almost upon us, and Remedy Entertainment has released a terrifying new trailer to celebrate it. The two-minute-long trailer sheds more light on the game’s story, which includes the FBI agent, Saga Anderson, trying to piece together the mystery behind the ritualistic murders in Bright Falls and its connection to Alan Wake’s disappearance and Wake in the Dark Place trying to escape the nightmare he wrote.

The trailer also reveals new snippets of gameplay for both Wake and Anderson, a first look at one of the terrifying creatures the latter encounters in the game, as well as a banging original song called “Follow You Into The Dark” featuring Reykjavík-based musician Rakel.
