While the UFC 5 roster has already landed with several hundred fighters available to players worldwide, some fans have already criticized the company for a lack of new additions. Fortunately, their work isn’t done and it looks like the UFC 5 roster will continue to expand.<\/p>\n

EA Sports has released new details to players about the first UFC 5 roster<\/a> update, including an explanation of why things may feel so similar to UFC 4 at launch. We also know eight new fighters on the way in the first few UFC 5 roster updates.<\/p>\n

EA Sports Confirms UFC 5 Roster To Add New Fighters<\/h2>\n

While the UFC 5 roster boasts a few hundred fighters across several weight classes, some names remain missing and have drawn criticism from players. EA Sports has now commented on the situation<\/a>, and part of their response was to emphasize that they chose not to hold new fighters for the next release.<\/p>\n

UFC 4 continued to expand its roster to as recently as July of this year, and every post-launch fighter could’ve been saved for the UFC 5 release<\/a> instead. However, for fans who aren’t satisfied by that explanation, there are even more additions on the horizon.<\/p>\n

As part of the Fight Week mode, they’ll be adding new fighters to the UFC 5 roster every month starting in December. Here are the first additions on deck:<\/p>\n
