The <strong>&#8216;Apocalypse Draws Near&#8217;<\/strong> challenge is certainly the latter; it&#8217;s one of the toughest challenges in Phasmophobia, but it&#8217;s very possible to complete with the right strategies, tools, and approach.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s<strong> how to complete The Apocalypse Draws Near challenge in Phasmophobia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1hejh4aks6\">What Is The Apocalypse Draws Near Challenge<\/h2>\n<p>The Apocalypse Draws Near is <strong>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/phasmophobia\/difficulty-levels-differences-explained\">the hardest possible challenge<\/a> but with normal investigator speed.&#8221;<\/strong> It&#8217;s a spin on the Apocalypse challenge.<\/p>\n<p>The Apocalypse Challenge tasks players with completing all 4 objectives on Sunny Meadows Mental Institution alone and obtaining a ghost photo with any number of stars. There are three Apocalypse difficulties: 1 (6x), 2 (10x), and 3 (15x). Thankfully, you&#8217;ll have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/phasmophobia\/equipment-changes-explained\">Tier 3 tools<\/a> on your side, so this should make it a lot easier. Here are some tips for identifying the ghost, getting a photo, and completing all of your objectives without breaking a sweat.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1hejh4aks8\">Find The Ghost Quickly<\/h3>\n<p>Finding the ghost&#8217;s location quickly is key to winning the Apocalypse Draws Near challenge in Phasmophobia. Once you&#8217;ve pinned down the ghost room, you can try to gain evidence, communicate with the ghost, and perhaps even witness an event.<\/p>\n<p>To find the ghost room, you can check for low temperatures, activity (such as movements or sounds), and other signs of the ghost, like responses to your equipment.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1hejh4aks9\">Use Smudge Sticks<\/h3>\n<p>You&#8217;ll likely be losing Sanity as you search for the ghost and endeavor to complete all your objectives, so you&#8217;ll definitely want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/phasmophobia\/smudge-sticks\">bring along some Smudge Sticks<\/a> to keep you safe. They&#8217;ll prevent the ghost from hunting you, so they&#8217;re an invaluable item; however, you can only bring so many of them, so use them wisely when your Sanity drops or you&#8217;re fearing a hunt due to a spike in ghost activity.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1hejh4aksa\">Be Prepared To Take A Photo<\/h3>\n<p>Taking a photo is one key objective you&#8217;ll need to complete for this challenge. As such, you&#8217;ll want to have a Photo Camera on hand and be prepared to take a photo whenever an event occurs. It doesn&#8217;t matter how quality the photo is as long as you&#8217;re able to take one &#8211; one-to-three-star photos all work.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1hejh4aksb\">Beware Of The Mimic<\/h3>\n<p>The Mimic can mirror the behavior of many different ghosts in Phasmophobia and may cause you some trouble if you aren&#8217;t careful. One way to identify a Mimic is that their behavior changes every minute or so, while most ghost types are more consistent; you can pay attention to drastic changes in behavior and activity if you aren&#8217;t sure.<\/p>\n<p>The Apocalypse Draws Near is one of the hardest challenges in Phasmophobia, and it may take some time to complete, even for experienced ghost hunters.
