With World of Warcraft (WoW)<\/a> Dragonflight’s update 10.2 (Guardians of the Dream) update now live and Season 3 with the Amidrassil raid<\/a> officially kicking off on 14\/15 November, depending on your region, players are jumping into the Emerald Dream. If you want a way to get to the new zone much faster, then you must use the Emerald Dream portal located in Valdrakken.<\/p>\n

In this guide, we explain how you can unlock the WoW Dragonflight Emerald Dream portal in Valdrakken and pinpoint its exact location, cutting down your travel time significantly.<\/p>\n

Instead of traveling all the way to the Ancient Bough in the Ohn’ahran Plains zone on Dragon Isles, players can use a much faster Portal to the Emerald Dream, located in Valdrakken.<\/p>\n

As you can see from the image via Wowhead’s map above, you can easily travel back to the Emerald Dream by heading to that exact location in Valdrakken’s Emerald Enclave. This will save you a lot of time as you travel between the dream and the world of Azeroth.<\/p>\n

It is important to note that you will need to unlock this faster Emerald Dream portal, which is what the next section of our guide is all about.<\/p>\n

How To Unlock Quick Emerald Dream Portal<\/h2>\n

First, the bad news, you will have to take the long way to the Emerald Dream once, using the portal in Ohn’ahran Plains zone as per the map above. You’ll need to go through it early on in the Guardians of the Dream campaign after getting the quest “Emerald Welcome” tasking you to “Enter the Emerald Dream” and then speaking to NPC Merithra inside.<\/p>\n

Once this is complete, you will automatically unlock the quick Emerald Dream portal in Valdrakken. The good news is that you will only have to do this once, as the Valdrakken portal gets unlocked account-wide!<\/p>\n
