After a couple of teaser images over the weekend, Blizzard has revealed the latest hero that will join Heroes of the Storm.

Many have guessed right, it’s Mei from the Overwatch.

Mei-Ling Zhou will be the ninth Overwatch hero that will join the Nexus.

Mei is an exceptionally talented scientist who has taken the fight to preserve the environment into her own hands.

Unlike her “Damage” role in Overwatch, in Heroes of the Storm, she will have the role of a tank hero. Her primary strength is crowd control with a lot of freeze effects that will slow, root, and stun her enemies.

Each of her abilities has some kind of a CC effect, with her Q providing slow and blind, W is a zoning tool with slow and potential stun, while her E grants her mobility both for offensive plays(knockback and slow) and as an escape tool. Both her Heroics are primarily CC tools as well.

Her kit is generally quite different than the one she has in Overwatch, and at first glance, it looks really interesting to play.
