It&#8217;s not just a fancy title, either. Here are the requirements for becoming a Mentor in FFXIV:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Battle Mentor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete any level 90 Tank role Quest<\/li>\n<li>Complete any level 90 Healer role Quest<\/li>\n<li>Complete any level 90 melee DPS or ranged DPS role Quest<\/li>\n<li>Complete 1000 dungeons, raids, or trials<\/li>\n<li>Receive 1500 player commendations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Trade Mentor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reach level 90 with any Disciple of the Land (Gathering) Job<\/li>\n<li>Reach level 90 with any Disciple of the Hand (Crafting) Job<\/li>\n<li>Synthesize 100 collectables<\/li>\n<li>Gather or catch 300 collectables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once these requirements are complete, it is possible to apply to become a Mentor via The Smith NPC at any of the three major starting cities.
