Usually, it&#8217;s console players that play with aim assist due to the fact that controllers are not as responsive as a keyboard and mouse. But in Modern Warfare 3, there are <strong>four different aim assist options<\/strong>. Here are the different aim assist options in Modern Warfare 3:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Default:<\/strong> Traditional aim slowdown near target used in Modern Warfare games.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Precision:<\/strong> Strong aim slowdown that only kicks in when aiming closer to the target. Best for accurate players.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Focusing:<\/strong> Strong aim slowdown that also kicks in when narrowly missing the target. Best for players new to analog aiming.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Black Ops:<\/strong> Traditional aim slowdown near target used in Black Ops games.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Out of the three options, <strong>we recommend Black Ops aim assist<\/strong>. Treyarch&#8217;s aim assist option appears to be the smoothest and least invasive while also actually assisting the player.
