Showcased at DreamHack Winter, in Jönköping, Sweden, The Husqvarna Group have achieved the feat of making Doom playable on one of their robotic lawnmowers. Using the outdoor power equipment’s on-unit controls, players can work their way through the retro title’s classic levels.

What’s more surprising is that players can even play locally in a 1v1 deathmatch, giving players the multiplayer experience they’ve been craving — if via a slightly unconventional method.

At DreamHack Winter, the company is hosting a LAN tournament, where attendees can face-off against influencers and try their hand at Doom on the lawnmower. Players will attend the qualifiers by taking on a Doom speed run. Those that pass will move onto the Finals on Saturday, taking part in the 1v1 Deathmatch.
