One of the great things about playing FFXIV<\/a> is that it’s possible to play every Job on a single character. You can load into a raid as a DPS, then fight some world bosses as a tank before helping out in a Dungeon Roulette as a healer. <\/p>\n

While a lot of the Classes and Jobs are available to all players from the start of the game, with each new expansion, the developers of FFXIV have been good at introducing new Jobs to spice things up. <\/p>\n

These Jobs require players to meet certain criteria before they can be unlocked, however, and one of these Jobs is the Dancer. So, if you are curious about how to unlock the Dancer, this article will guide you through everything you need to do to start playing this Job. <\/p>\n

How To Unlock Dancer In FFXIV<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To unlock Dancer, players must first have purchased the Shadowbringers expansion, as this Job is exclusive to this expansion. Additionally, players must have a Disciple of War or a Disciple of Magic at level 60 or above. <\/p>\n

Once both of these criteria have been met, players will need to head to the Lower Decks in Limsa Lominsa. There, speak with the Eager Lominsian, who will provide you with the Dancer Job acquisition quest, “Shall We Dance?” Simply complete this quest, and you will be able to start playing as a Dancer.<\/p>\n

The Dancer Job, unlike other Classes which start at level 1, will start at level 30. Dancer is a Physical Ranged DPS that is not only able to inflict damage on enemies during combat, but excels at buffing the party’s damage with a myriad of dancers. While having arguably lackluster personal damage compared to other DPS Jobs, Dancers make up for this by increasing the damage of their allies. <\/p>\n
