How to Get the Argentavis Talon in ARK Survival Ascended<\/span><\/h2>\n

True to its name, the Argentavis Talon can be acquired from the Argentavis, large bird-like creatures that inhabit the Island. These majestic flyers often carry Argentavis Talons in their inventory and more commonly, on their corpses. If you aim to gather multiple talons, essential for facing the Broodmother<\/a>, it’s advisable to stock up on enough ammunition or tranquilizer ammo<\/a> to engage them from a distance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Argentavis are scattered throughout the Island, soaring through the skies in search of prey or to evade larger dinosaurs. While they can be found in various locations, the northern regions, like the snow biome and high altitudes, such as the volcano at the Island’s center, seem to have a higher concentration of these creatures.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dead Island<\/a> to the northeast is also a suitable location, although its perilous waters filled with predators make inland searches more viable. Now that you know where to locate and farm Argentavis Talons, let’s delve into their usage.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Use the Argentavis Talon to Summon Broodmother<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Broodmother is one of the three bosses you must defeat to access the Overseer boss<\/a> and achieve the Ascension ending in the game. To summon the Beta and Alpha versions of the Broodmother, you’ll need to present 5 and 10 Argentavis Talons, respectively, along with a few other Artifacts.<\/span><\/p>\n
