This is possible by arming themselves with Winterlights Snowballs, which can easily be obtained once they’ve updated the game to reflect the content added in the v0.175 patch update. Players looking to get their mitten-covered hands on these snowballs can learn in this frosty guide on acquiring the Winterlights Snowballs in Palia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How To Find The Winterlights Snowballs In Palia?<\/h2>\n

The Winterlights Snowballs are a new item players can obtain, first highlighted in the November 2023 Developer Update post<\/a>. This item comes in time for the Winter season as players can have Snowball fights with their friends, community members and other players when equipped to their character.<\/p>\n

Acquiring this unique item won’t require any quests to complete nor be purchased from Zeki’s General Goods Store or the Winterlights Store. Instead, when players update the game client to reflect the v0.175 patch update, they can find the item available in-game.<\/p>\n

All players must do is log into the game and navigate to the News tab by accessing the Inventory menu. Look for a newsletter sent to them by the developer where they can claim 100 Winterlights Snowballs, which will immediately be added to their backpack slots<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How To Use The Winterlights Snowballs In Palia?<\/h2>\n

These frosty little nuggets serve only one purpose once players have them within their backpack slots, and that is for having Snowball fights. The Winterlights Snowballs are classified as an ammo item that can be used to launch them at friends, community members, and other players on their server.<\/p>\n

Players can also acquire the Winterlights Snowbank, Snowdrift, Snowmound, and Ice Patch items purchased from the Winterlights Store to create their unique Snowball fight arena on their Housing plot. The Winterlights Snowballs can be equipped to their Bug Belt, which they’ll need to cycle through the Tool Wheel much similar when equipping various Smoke Bombs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s worth noting that players can target various bugs in the open-world environment; however, the targeted bugs won’t be harmed by the frosty items. Instead, these snowballs will scare them as they’ll try to evade the incoming flurry of snow nuggets, but be wise when using them.<\/p>\n

There hasn’t been any confirmation on how players can receive more Winterlights Snowballs as they’re currently unavailable to purchase from the Winterlights Store. As such, once they run out of snowballs, there won’t be another way to acquire more of them in-game.<\/p>\n
