The next story DLC for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/the-division\">The Division 2<\/a> isn&#8217;t coming out until 2025. Ubisoft confirmed the news in a new live stream that also revealed details about Project Resolve, a massive QOL update coming to the game next year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, Ubisoft laid out a revised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/the-division\/2-2024-roadmap-revealed\">2024 roadmap<\/a> for The Division 2, which also highlighted the release window for the upcoming year 5 season 3 Vanguard.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The most interesting and sadly the most unfortunate news coming out of this is the delay of Division 2&#8217;s highly anticipated story DLC, which, as mentioned above, has been pushed back to 2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/D4POekmy3A8eEerwGjl5ERVdkecQIY_XTeGuJVhj7NA\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9kaXZpc2lvbjIvd2FybG9yZHNvZm55Yy5qcGc\" alt=\"warlordsofnyc.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The Division 2 has not received a story DLC since 2020&#8217;s Warlords of New York. (Picture: Ubisoft)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Although a live-service title with a seasonal model, The Division 2 doesn&#8217;t receive story expansions as frequently as some other popular games of the genre, like Destiny 2 and Warframe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The last major expansion for The Division was Warlords of New York, which, although received positively by critics and fans alike, was released back in 2020. Since then, Division 2 hasn&#8217;t received a single expansion-style update, and it looks like it won&#8217;t until 2025. While this may disappoint many Division 2 players, the silver lining is that Ubisoft isn&#8217;t giving up on the game anytime soon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of Division, Ubisoft casually confirmed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/the-division\/3-release-date-news\">The Division 3<\/a> earlier this year in a press release. As of this writing, it has no trailer nor a release window and is likely years away.
