After introducing LEGO Fortnite<\/a>, Epic Games converted a huge portion of the pre-existing skins and Outfits into LEGO versions to be used within the new sandbox title. Plenty of Fortnite’s original skins now have LEGO variations, and are available to use if players already own the normal skin.<\/p>\n

For the most part, players will need to have purchased the original skin from the Item Shop in order to use it in LEGO Fortnite. But there are some skins that have been awarded to players for free. Below, we’ll discuss whether or not you can get free skins in LEGO Fortnite, and how to get hold of some for yourself.<\/p>\n

Can You Get Free Skins In LEGO Fortnite?<\/h2>\n

Put simply, you cannot get free skins or Outfits just by playing LEGO Fortnite. But, Epic Games will occasionally offer players free skins via other means. Take Winterfest, for example. Every year, Epic Games offers players some free skins as part of the Winterfest celebration<\/a>. As of 2023, players will be able to use these free skins in LEGO Fortnite.<\/p>\n

Players can also obtain free skins by taking part in periodic promotions in other areas of Fortnite, such as the Battle Royale. Certain events and collaborations have the potential to award free skins, though it’s not always guaranteed that these skins will be useable in LEGO Fortnite.<\/p>\n

Keep an eye on any official promotions offered by Epic Games. Right now, players can get the Explorer Emilie Outfit<\/a> <\/strong>for free, by connecting their Epic Games and LEGO accounts together. <\/p>\n

Players can also earn free skins from seasonal events, like Winterfest. This year, both the Holiday Boxy Outfit and Winterfest Bushranger Outfit have a LEGO Style and are available to claim for free.<\/p>\n
