During the last Blizzcon, we got information about The War Within, which is the next expansion for World of Warcraft<\/strong>. Players are finally winding down after challenging the Amirdrassil Raid<\/a> and taking down the new bosses that were introduced. Now, players are focused on what is coming next to the game.<\/p>\n

The major key aspect that has players the most excited about World of Warcraft right now is the Hero Talents<\/a>. Hero Talents are a new form of character progression that allows players to further express thier individuality in WoW. Here, we are going to go over the Mountain Thane Warrior Hero Talent Tree<\/strong> and what it has to offer.<\/p>\n

Mountain Thane Warrior Hero Talent Tree For WoW The War Within<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Each class in WoW has three Hero Talent Trees and each Specialization within that class can choose two. The Mountain Thane Warrior can be chosen by the Fury and Protection Warrior Specializations<\/strong>. Mountain Thanes have the ability to channel nature damage with their attacks, dealing extra damage. Check out the Mountain Thane Hero Talent Tree below (talent tree info via Blizzard<\/a>):<\/p>\n

MOUNTAIN THANE KEYSTONE<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Lightning Strikes:<\/strong> Damaging enemies with Thunder Clap<\/strong>, Revenge<\/strong>, Raging Blow<\/strong>, or Execute<\/strong> has a 10% chance to also strike one with a lightning bolt, dealing moderate Nature damage. Lightning Strikes<\/strong> occur 50% more often during Avatar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 MOUNTAIN THANE ROW 1<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Call of Thunder:<\/strong> The Stormstrike<\/strong> damage or Nature damage your abilities deal is increased by 5%. Stormstrike<\/strong> damage ignores Armor. Thunder Clap<\/strong> damage increased by 50%. For Fury only, Thunder Clap <\/strong>generates 5 Rage and Improved Whirlwind<\/strong> and Meat Cleaver <\/strong>now improve Thunder Clap <\/strong>as well as Whirlwind<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Ground Current:<\/strong>Lightning Strikes<\/strong> also deal low amounts of Nature damage to enemies near their target. Damage reduced beyond 5 targets.<\/p>\n

Strength of the Mountain:<\/strong>Shield Slam<\/strong> damage increased by 20%. Bloodthirst<\/strong> and Rampage<\/strong> damage increased by 10%.<\/p>\n

MOUNTAIN THANE ROW 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Thunder Blast<\/strong>: Shield Slam<\/strong> and Bloodthirst<\/strong> have a 20% chance to grant you Thunder Blast<\/strong>, stacking up to 2 charges. Thunder Blast<\/strong> causes your next Thunder Clap<\/strong> to become a Thunder Blast <\/strong>that deals Stormstrike<\/strong> damage.<\/p>\n

Choice Node:<\/strong> Storm Bolts & Storm Shield<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Storm Bolts:<\/strong>Storm Bolt <\/strong>also hits 1 additional nearby target, stunning them for 2 seconds.<\/li>\n
  • Storm Shield: <\/strong>Intervening a target grants them a shield for 5 seconds that absorbs magic damage equal to 3 times your Armor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Choice Node:<\/strong> Flashing Skies & Valarjar Training<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Flashing Skies:<\/strong> Chance for Lightning Strikes<\/strong> to critically strike is increased by 5% and their critical strike damage is increased by 10%.<\/li>\n
    • Valarjar Training<\/strong>: Lightning Strikes<\/strong> reduce the cooldown of Ravager<\/strong> by 0.5 second.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      MOUNTAIN THANE ROW 3<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      Choice Node:<\/strong> Steadfast as the Peaks & Keep Your Feet on the Ground<\/p>\n

      • Steadfast as the Peaks<\/strong>: Victory Rush<\/strong> increases your maximum health by 10% for 5 seconds. <\/li>\n
      • Keep Your Feet on the Ground<\/strong>: Thunder Blast<\/strong> reduces damage you take by 4% for 5 seconds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Choice Node: <\/strong>Gathering Clouds & Thorim’s Might<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Gathering Clouds<\/strong>: Your attacks trigger Lightning Strikes<\/strong> 15% more often.<\/li>\n
        • Thorim’s Might<\/strong>: Lightning Strikes<\/strong> generate 3 Rage. Revenge<\/strong>, Raging Blow<\/strong>, and Execute<\/strong> damage increased by 15%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Burst of Power:<\/strong>Lightning Strikes<\/strong> have a 20% chance to make your next 2 Shield Slams<\/strong> or Bloodthirsts<\/strong> have no cooldown.<\/p>\n

          Mountain Thane Capstone For WoW The War Within<\/strong><\/h2>\n

          The Capstone for each Hero Talent Tree in WoW is a final skill or passive that will really round out the Talent Tree. It is meant to make the entire Talent Tree feel complete and give players that extra boost they need.<\/p>\n

          The Capstone for the Mountain Thane is called Avatar of the Storm<\/strong>. It gives players two charges of Thunder Blast and resets the cooldown of Thunder Clap. While Avatar is not active, Lightning Strikes will give players a 10% chance to grant them Avatar for four seconds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
