With all of the players checking out everything that Season 3<\/a> of Dragonflight has to offer, World of Warcraft <\/strong>fans are getting excited about The War Within. The War Within looks like it will change the very foundation of how players approach WoW in the long run. For example, there are new ways to customize characters.<\/p>\n

We are talking about Hero Talents<\/a>, one of the most anticipated additions to World of Warcraft. This one mechanic alone has players excited, but there is a lot more coming as well. That is why players are asking when will The War Within expansion launch<\/strong>. Here, we will go over that and explore what players can expect.<\/p>\n

Blizzard made a news post<\/a> showing off what their plans were for the year 2024 in World of Warcraft. This includes an estimated timeline for the launch of The War Within expansion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Thanks to a recent news post from Blizzard, we now know their timeline for 2024. During that year, we will receive the alpha, beta, and full launch of The War Within. Here is a table showing when each test should launch and when the full expansion should launch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

At the time of this writing, there are no official release dates<\/strong> for The War Within in any form. All that we know is a general timeframe of when each test should launch and when the actual expansion should launch. As soon as we have more information about each launch, we will update this page accordingly.<\/p>\n

WoW The War Within New Features<\/strong><\/h2>\n

One of the main reasons why players are excited about WoW The War Within is the Hero Talents. The Hero Talents<\/strong> will be unlocked at level 71 and players will have two possible paths to choose from. The Hero Talents will dynamically change how players approach the game, and new, never-before-seen builds will be made because of it. It is the last form of progression for characters, so players are excited to check out what Hero Talents has to offer.<\/p>\n

Delves<\/strong> are also a new feature coming to The War Within. They are like small dungeons, but players can simply walk into them in the open world. They can be tackled by a single player or up to five players. No specific roles are needed either. So it is perfect for dipping your toes into the end game before checking out raids and dungeons.<\/p>\n

On top of these main features, there is going to be a new Earthen Allied Race, four new zones, eight new dungeons, a new raid, and a new PVP season<\/strong>. Of course, there is a new campaign story as well. So The War Within will have something for everybody to check out.<\/p>\n

Famously, World of Warcraft has never been available for any console. Players can only check out WoW on PC<\/strong>. Right now, it is extremely doubtful that this will change as nothing has been announced.<\/p>\n

But recently, Microsoft has acquired Blizzard after a year-long legal battle. With Microsoft being the owner of Xbox, there is a slight possibility that World of Warcraft could come to Xbox one day<\/strong>. This is a longshot and extremely unlikely, but since Microsoft owns Blizzard, it is now possible.
