In ESO, this largely revolves around the fight against Molag Bal and his quest to meld the mortal plane with Coldharbour. A secondary story also takes place regarding the struggle for the imperial throne between three Alliances. You would have chosen your starting Alliance during character creation. But don&#8217;t worry, you&#8217;ll get the chance to play through them all if you wish.<\/p>\n<p>Given that these two stories will intertwine somewhat, a great place to start your journey &#8211; right from the beginning &#8211; is by heading to your Alliance&#8217;s starting quest locations. These are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Aldmeri Dominion<\/strong>: Khenarthi&#8217;s Roost, Elsweyr<\/li>\n<li><strong>Daggerfall Covenant<\/strong>: Stros M&#8217;Kai, Hammerfell&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ebonheart Pact<\/strong>: Bleakrock Isle, Skyrim<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Depending on your Alliance, you&#8217;ll be able to progress the main story through one of these areas. Each of these starting areas are small, so it shouldn&#8217;t take too long to complete everything they have to offer. As you progress through these initial quests, you&#8217;ll then be put on the path that takes you to the next zone in the story.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For the <strong>Aldmeri Dominion<\/strong>, you&#8217;ll next head to Auridon on the Summerset Isles. For the <strong>Daggerfall Covenant<\/strong>, you&#8217;ll be sent to Betnikh, then onto Glenumbra in High Rock.
