The number of Shards needed to clone a creature depends on the creature type and creature level. Cloning time ranges from a minimum of 40 minutes to a maximum of 4 days (approximate times). You just need to place the creature on the platform. The &#8220;Clone&#8230;&#8221; options show the required amount of Element Shards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Once the shards are placed in the cloner&#8217;s inventory, you can start the process with the same option. It&#8217;s also a great way to clone creatures that cannot be bred but can be tamed, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/ark-survival-ascended\/rhyniognatha-tame-abilities\">Rhyniognatha<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/ark-survival-ascended\/dung-beetle-locations\">Dung Beetles<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">A warning worth keeping in mind is that the process can be disrupted, such as if the TEK Generator runs out of power; when this happens, you&#8217;ll need to restart the cloning process, and any Element Shards used up until that point will be lost.
