This is due to their white color and placement in areas like snow, which makes spotting them quite difficult.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fortunately, the game features a highlighting mechanism for Crystals, making it easier to spot them from a distance, especially when riding a flying tame or exploring with your dino. This guide will demonstrate utilizing this feature to highlight Crystals in the wilderness of ARK Survival Ascended.<\/span><\/p>\n

Highlighting Crystals rocks, or veins in ARK Survival Ascended is a straightforward process that can be executed on the go using a specific console command. To enable metal highlights, simply utilize the command “r.MaterialQualityLevel 0,”<\/strong> resulting in the terrain adopting a dark grey color.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this visual mode, creatures and patches of green shrubbery will be emphasized, but Crystals (As well as Metal Rocks at times) will contrast against the dark grey backdrop, appearing as a pale white color, as illustrated in the image above.
