In order to make permanent upgrades to your&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/deep-rock-galactic\/survivor-unlock-all-classes-characters\">characters and classes<\/a>, such as increasing your Armor, you&#8217;ll need to mine for precious minerals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To ensure that the swarms of alien bugs aren&#8217;t taking you down too quickly, it&#8217;s important to improve your Armor stat where you can. The problem is that your Armor stat will reset back to its standard value one the run ends.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, you can make permanent upgrades by heading to the Main Menu and selecting the &#8220;Upgrades&#8221; menu. Here, you&#8217;ll be able to purchase pemanent upgrades, inclusing ones for Armor.<\/p>\n<p>To upgrade your Armor, look on the top row for the shield icon, third from the left. They are <strong>gray in color and shaped like stones or ovals<\/strong>. There&#8217;s a chance to find some on your runs across <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/deep-rock-galactic\/survivor-unlock-new-maps\">all of the biomes<\/a>, but you&#8217;ll need to mine them to harvest the mineral.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can also purchase Enor Pearls from the Upgrades page. Each Enor Pearl will cost 400 Cash. Be careful not to spend too much on the minerals or you won&#8217;t have enough Cash to make the upgrade.
