There has been some backlash about Last Epoch<\/a>‘s Refer-a-Friend program. To be fair, it isn’t a lot, but some players dislike<\/a> the “bees” system, where you collect bees to unlock bee pets.<\/p>\n

Well, we are happy to report that you don’t have to worry about not getting your hands on all three (3) bee pets in Last Epoch, as they will now be given away for free.<\/p>\n

In a post on the official Last Epoch forums, the developers announced<\/a> that:<\/p>\n

We have heard your concerns with the current Refer A Friend system implementation and will be temporarily disabling it. Because we aren’t fans of letting a small issue ruin the fun for others, we will be granting everyone who owns a copy of Last Epoch all three of the bee pets.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The developers continued by explaining that they are currently “very focused” on getting all the online services working, and they do not want to take time away from this important task. Therefore, Eleventh Hour Games will grant the free bee pet rewards alongside the Autumnal Wrap item no later than Friday, 1 March 2024.<\/p>\n

Well done, Eleventh Hour Games. Even while you are struggling to put out the fires caused by API issues and the servers overloading, you still have time to address the community and fix something that, honesty, isn’t that big of a deal right now.<\/p>\n
