For those unfamiliar with this new mode or seeking further insight into its mechanics, you’ve come to the right place. Below, we’ll provide a comprehensive explanation of everything you need to know about the Clash mode debuting in Season 10 of Overwatch 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overwatch 2 Season 10 Clash Mode Explained<\/span><\/h2>\n

In November 2023, Team 4 initially unveiled the Clash mode at Blizzco<\/a>n, and the initial response was largely positive, viewing it as a refreshing addition to Overwatch 2. Now, with Season 10 looming, Blizzard has announced that the mode will be included in the upcoming season when it begins in April, albeit only as a limited-time playtest.<\/span><\/p>\n

The playtest of Clash will take place on the new Hanaoka map (adjacent to Hanamura in the game’s lore) at the start of Season 10<\/a>, with the full launch extending to both Hanaoka and Runasapi.<\/span><\/p>\n

The mechanics of Clash involve five capture points arranged in a straight line on a mirrored map. To secure victory, a team must first capture the central point and then advance to capture the two points within the enemy team’s territory. <\/span><\/p>\n
