There is <strong>no way to start a new save game in Dragon&#8217;s Dogma 2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You must live with every single decision you make, as there&#8217;s no way to start a new save, and even the act of <em>save-scumming<\/em> it out of the question. You can only load from the last time the game was saved or from your last rest at an inn. That&#8217;s it. This design decision is, alongside microtransactions, one of the reasons <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/dragons-dogma-2\/review-bombed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dragon&#8217;s Dogma 2 is getting review-bombed at launch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I did like the idea of all player choices being permanent. Every decision, from the voice tone of your main pawn to either helping an NPC or outing them to a city guard, carries weight rarely found in other RPGs.<\/p>\n<p>There is always a possibility that the developers could add a way to create a new save and start from scratch in a future Dragon&#8217;s Dogma 2 update&#8230;but I won&#8217;t hold my breath.
