As Palians have been preoccupied and immersed in the story for the new questline involving the Temple of Roots, their progress will be hindered once they interact with the Mysterious Device. This occurs during the Keeper of Flames quest, where they must bypass the overseer station to start disengaging the garden lockdown protocol.

However, without an Access Code, they may find themselves grasping straws in deciphering what the password may be, even with the clue provided. In this flaming guide, we’ve explained what the Access Code for the Pyroflow overseer station and where to find it for the Keeper of Flames quest in Palia.

Where To Find The Keeper Of Flames Access Code In Palia?

Once Palians have successfully found the entrance of the Mysterious Tunnel that leads to the Pyroflow overseer station in Bahari Bay, they can enter the tunnel to bring them to the main room. As explained in our guide for the Keeper of Flames quest, they will see the Galdur-looking Mysterious Device at the center of this room, along with a staircase on either side and a large fire elemental sigil hanging atop the staircase.

To assist Hekla in gaining access to the Temple of Roots, they’ll need to disconnect the garden lockdown protocol from the Mysterious Device once they’ve logged in to its console. After interacting with the Mysterious Device, it will give them two options, and they can select the login option to progress.

Unfortunately, like with the Hydroflow and Aeroflow overseer stations, a password is required in the guise of an Access Code, but it does provide a singular clue: “the Dog’s Friend.” Palians who are scratching at their heads trying to determine who this dog’s best friend may be won’t need to worry much longer; they need to read the log entries found within this room to get their answer.

More specifically, they need to find the log entry titled “Ex-Relationship Struggles,” which can be found by heading up either staircase and looking down onto the platform where a Phoenix statue rests. Upon reading the text of this log entry, it will provide them with another four-letter name, CATO, which is the Access Code they must input at the console.

Once they’ve inputted the Access Code, they can select between the options provided, but we advise reading the messages before disengaging the garden lockdown protocol. When they’ve completed reading the message, they can begin disconnecting the garden lockdown protocol and can continue completing the Keeper of Flames quest to its completion.
