The Spring season has arrived in Kilima Village and Bahari Bay, as developer Singularity 6 debuted a new in-game mechanic allowing players to plant and grow flowers and trees. The Flowers and Trees System<\/a> lets players acquire seeds, which are planted without soil before watering, and they have to wait sometime for them to bloom.<\/p>\n

Gardenias are one of ten flower species included in the v0.178 patch update<\/a> and are the first they will get during a specific quest available in-game. Go with the flower, as we’ve detailed how to get and best utilize Gardenia flower seeds in Palia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Since the introduction of the Flowers and Trees System in the v0.178 patch update in Palia, Palians have been able to grow flowers to decorate their indoor and outdoor spaces. As they will have access to a great diversity of flowers to grow before decorating their homes, the developer has mentioned that more flora options will be available in the future.<\/p>\n

As detailed in the patch notes, they can acquire ten different flower types, including the Gardenia flower. However, they may be wondering just how they can get these flower seeds, as there are three different ways to obtain them, the first of which is to catch Common Blue Butterflies.<\/p>\n

These brightly blue critters frequently spawn in the Mirror Fields and Mirror Pond Ruins<\/strong> locations in Kilima Village between 3 am and 6 pm in-game<\/strong>. Unfortunately, as the developer explicitly outlined, they won’t be able to obtain Gardenia flower seeds when catching them in Bahari Bay.<\/p>\n

As they will stand a chance to get Gardenia flower seeds from catching Common Blue Butterflies, another way is to purchase them from Auni’s Bug Catching<\/a> Guild Store. When visiting Auni’s store, they can buy them for 15 Gardening Skill Medals<\/a> per seed before they can plant them before they become sprouts and then beautiful flower bushes.<\/p>\n

The third way they can acquire Gardenia flower seeds is through propagation. This occurs when they have planted and watered Gardenia sprouts before they bloom, which takes three days, and they can acquire one Gardenia flower seed.<\/p>\n

Once they bloom, they can move the flowers around their Housing Plot or indoors; however, they won’t be potted as they’ll retain their appearance. Additionally, Gardenia flowers can be gifted to certain Villagers, like Nai’o and Tish, which may help increase their Friendship levels<\/a> with them, but Gardenia seeds are also part of the Suspicious Symbiosis quest<\/a>.<\/p>\n
