Booby traps aren’t exactly items that you can craft in the game; instead, they are a feature or mechanic that’s been added for the C4<\/a> in Scorched Earth. The basic premise is that if you have C4 in your hand and you interact with a structure such as a forging station, you’ll have the option to “Set up a trap with C4”.<\/span><\/p>\n

The booby trap itself can be set off on an array of structures, ranging from boxes and forging stations to vaults, but unfortunately, it can’t be placed on walls or doors, as it seems the rule of thumb is that if the structure can hold items, it can be booby-trapped.<\/span><\/p>\n
