Little did I know that the plan was already in motion.<\/p>\n<p>Bethesda Game Studios have announced that Fallout 4 is getting a free downloadable update on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. According to a recent blog post, this will include native applications for both consoles, a Performance mode and Quality mode, and stability improvements and fixes. Players will finally get their 60 FPS Wasteland experience.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/hWkQYOq64okhC6E-adEadNARXW_XBW3YZqK1yO3COXg\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMy82NjE4MGQwYzI0N2UyLUZPNF9NYWtlc2hpZnRXZXBzXzA0MDFfMDQucG5n\" alt=\"66180d0c247e2-FO4_MakeshiftWeps_0401_04.png\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">A Fallout 4 update? Players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will also receive a free update that includes stability improvements, login and quest fixes. PC players will also be receiving a free update, including widescreen and ultra-widescreen support,&nbsp; fixes to Creation Kit, quest updates, stability, mods and bug fixes.<\/p>\n<p>A huge array of content is being made available for free through the Creation Club, including a new quest, &ldquo;Echoes of the Past,&rdquo; that adds an additional Enclave storyline.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fallout 4&#8217;s free next-gen upgrade arrives on April 25, 2024 for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.&nbsp;Fallout 4 will be made available to purchase on the Epic Games Store and will be Steam Deck verified.<\/p>\n<p>This update comes just after the release of Prime Video&#8217;s Fallout TV adaptation, which released to rave reviews.
