So without further delay, let&#8217;s dive into the details of how to build and use the Wyvern trap in ARK Survival Ascended Scorched Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1hs59t7g86\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">How to build and use a <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wyvern trap<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To begin, you&#8217;ll initially require the necessary resources for constructing the wyvern trap, and fortunately, it&#8217;s one of the simplest and least intricate traps currently operational in the game&mdash;all you&#8217;ll need are some <a href=\"https:\/\/ark.wiki.gg\/wiki\/Metal_Pillar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">metal pillars<\/a>. Starting with one side and expanding from there is the most straightforward approach since the trap essentially functions as a large cage. Begin by erecting a tower of pillars that&#8217;s five units high, then extend it three units across, and subsequently, five units back down to the ground level on the opposite side&mdash;this constitutes the front of the trap. You can then choose any of the top corners to erect four pillars vertically, as depicted in the image above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Duplicate this process on the opposing corner, and finally, replicate the construction back down to the ground on the opposite end, thus mirroring the initial side and resulting in a large vertical rectangle. Once this step is completed, the trap is ready. Utilizing the trap is relatively straightforward and doesn&#8217;t require excessive effort, although mastering it may take some practice. Once you&#8217;ve got the hang of it, the wyvern will be ensnared almost without fail (excluding occasional mesh glitches).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">To utilize the trap effectively, begin by using a flyer such as a Lymantria <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/ark-survival-ascended\/tame-phoenix-guide\">or Phoenix<\/a>, and then locate the wyvern you wish to trap. Provoke the wyvern by shooting it or inflicting any form of damage, then lead it back to your trap by flying directly towards the open section with the wyvern in pursuit. This may cause it to inadvertently fly past the trap entrance.
