However, you won&#8217;t get new Dwellers very quickly if you just wait for them to show up in your Vault (although they will, eventually). (Picture: Bethesda)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>There are several ways to get more Dwellers in Fallout Shelter, but some are more reliable than others.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1hrm462745\">1. Dwellers Will Arrive Over Time<\/h3>\n<p><strong>You&#8217;ll get more Dwellers over time<\/strong> as it passes; more Dwellers will find their way from the Wasteland into your Vault. However, there are much quicker ways to get more Dwellers in Fallout Shelter.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1hrm462746\">2. Make Vault Dweller Babies<\/h3>\n<p>The best and most optimal way to get more Dwellers is to <strong>breed them<\/strong>. Female Dwellers will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fallout-shelter\/how-long-are-women-pregnant\">pregnant for three hours<\/a>, at which point they&#8217;ll give birth, and it&#8217;ll take another three hours for the child to grow up and be able to perform activities in your Vault.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1hrm462747\">3. Unlock Dwellers As Special Rewards<\/h3>\n<p>You can also<strong> get Dwellers as rewards<\/strong> for completing various tasks, such as quests, and as Lunchbox rewards. While this isn&#8217;t quite as reliable a way to get more Dwellers as breeding them, it&#8217;s still a good way to get a few more Dwellers in your Vault.<\/p>\n<p>As you play Fallout Shelter, you&#8217;ll inevitably get more Dwellers over time.
