How To Get Sulfur In <\/span>ARK Scorched Earth<\/span><\/h2>\n

Before we dive straight into the best ways to farm for Sulfur, we should first discuss its uses in the game, of which there are quite a few. First <\/span>off<\/span>, Sulfur is used as an ingredient for crafting and is used to craft Preserving Salt and <\/span>propellant<\/span>, and even create the powerful Flamethrower weapon<\/a>, making Sulfur a must-have if you want to craft these items.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then we have its use as a consumable<\/span>, specifically<\/span>, Sulfur <\/span>is used<\/span> to tame a Rock Elemental, one of the most powerful creatures that roam Scorched Earth and can be <\/span>quite<\/span> hard to tame otherwise. <\/span>Sulfur can also <\/span>be used<\/span> to feed a Phoenix once you have one tamed<\/a>, and if you know how powerful these flaming birds are, <\/span>then you’re going to<\/span> need some Sulfur to feed it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now that you know how Sulfur <\/span>is used<\/span>, let’s move on to how you can farm it more efficiently on Scorched Earth, which <\/span>is located<\/span> in one of the most dangerous places on the map, the Wyvern Scar. Now <\/span>you<\/span> can get Sulfur from other nodes around the taller mountains of the map, but the Wyvern Scar has the most in abundance, and if you can avoid the Wyverns <\/span>there<\/span> you can easily be in and out with tons of Sulfur for your needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you reach the location shown on the map above, you can enter the southern point of the Wyvern Scar and <\/span>make your way<\/span> right down to the floor of the scar next to the large lava waterfall. From here, make your way south along the banks of the lava river, and keep your eyes peeled for the Sulfur deposits, which are the large yellow-looking rocks on the ground.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you find one, you can begin harvesting it for the Sulfur using a pickaxe<\/a> (recommended) <\/span>and<\/span> it will <\/span>easily<\/span> give you 50+ Sulfur with each rock <\/span>that you<\/span> harvest and destroy. Now <\/span>these<\/span> rocks come in varying shapes, with the largest ones easily giving you over 100 Sulfur, and thanks to Sulfur’s lightweight, you can gather tons of the resource without needing to come back and collect more when you need it.<\/span><\/p>\n
