G2 Esports is one of the top contenders to compete at the event, but now, we&#8217;ve learned that they will be without their captain and in-game leader (IGL), Rasmus &#8220;&#8288;HooXi&#8288;&#8221; Nielsen.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a big deal for G2 Esports, as the IGL in CS2 is of the utmost importance, setting the pace, making those difficult calls, and planning executes. The news of Danish star Rasmus &#8220;&#8288;HooXi&#8288;&#8221; Nielsen&#8217;s absence at IEM Dallas 2024 was first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dust2.us\/news\/48231\/hooxi-to-miss-out-on-iem-dallas-2024-american-rifler-possible-stand-in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">reported<\/a> by Dust2.us, when the team&#8217;s General Manager, Petar &#8220;&#8288;peca&#8288;&#8221; Markovi&#263;, confirmed it.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, who&#8217;s going to stand in for HooXi? Well, neither G2 nor their IGL has confirmed any details about a temporary player.
