The ‘Return to Silent Hill’ movie was announced during last year’s Silent Hill Transmission, and it seems that the film is finally nearly ready for release, with producers offering a first look at Pyramid Head<\/strong> and preview screenings at the Cannes Film Festival<\/strong>. The film’s version of Pyramid Head looks much like previous iterations of the character, but features a wired webbing on the front side of his head. <\/p>\n

With the reveal of Pyramid Head and some preview screenings of the movie being shown, this means that fans could likely see a 2024 or 2025 release date for ‘Return to Silent Hill’ – though nothing is confirmed quite yet in terms of a specific release date for the movie.<\/p>\n

‘Return to Silent Hill’ is a movie adaptation of the second Silent Hill game, which is currently being remade by Bloober Team and is set for a 2024 release<\/a>. Some regard the original title as one of the best horror games of all time<\/a>, thanks to its harrowing story that discusses challenging, taboo topics in tactful yet jarring ways. <\/p>\n

The Pyramid Head shown to be in Return to Silent Hill takes on a slightly different appearance from the version shown in the original title. While maintaining most of the original’s iconic features, ‘Return to Silent Hill”s Pyramid Head gets sharp webbing and a less gritty appearance. You can take a look at the differences below:<\/p>\n
