And while it brings with it a huge wave of new content, including Main Scenario Quests, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/final-fantasy-xiv-online\/dawntrail-new-jobs\">new Job classes<\/a>, a new playable race, and more, some existing features will receive a few changes.<\/p>\n<p>In a &#8220;Letter from the Producer&#8221; broadcast, the FFXIV team revealed the battle action changes coming to each Job with the Dawntrail expansion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/final-fantasy-xiv-online\/dawntrail-level-cap\">increasing the level cap to 100<\/a>, including for the two new Jobs: Viper and Pictomancer. The changes effect every class: Tank, Healer, Melee DPS, Physical Ranged DPS, Magical Ranged DPS.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With so many Jobs to update, there&#8217;s a lot of information to uncover. (Picture: Square Enix)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Second Wind&#8217;s healing potency will be increased in the 90s level range.<\/li>\n<li>Feint&#8217;s duration will be increased to 15 seconds in the 90s level range.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Dragoon<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To reduce positional requirement for the single-target combo, the fifth combo action has been changed to a new non-directional action, Drakesbane. Fang and Claw\/Wheeling Thrust will change to Drakesbane, so input execution will remain the same.<\/li>\n<li>To facilitate maximum damage output at the beginning or the battle, Life of the Dragon will be available without accumulating Dragon Gauge.<\/li>\n<li>To reduce the number of inputs during burst damage phases, certain actions will be removed or adjusted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Monk<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic combo mechanics will no longer center around maintaining a buff or damage over time; instead, performing actions in a certain order will increase the next action&#8217;s potency.<\/li>\n<li>Can accumulate up to a total of ten chakra while Brotherhood is active (to prevent chakra overflow).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Samurai<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To simplify recast management, Tsubame-gaeshi will be changed to be executable after Meikyo Shisui.<\/li>\n<li>Hakaze, Tenka, Goken, and Midare Setsugekka will be upgraded into new actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ninja<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Huton&#8217;s effect has been moved to a trait and will always be active.
