MultiVersus<\/a> reemerged from the aether as developer Player First Games and publisher Warner Bros. Games released a new trailer for the free-to-play fighting game. This latest trailer showcased all the available playable characters<\/a>, but it appears they’ve added two more characters to the game. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Launch trailer, aptly titled “Stars Collide. Pies Fly,” showcased the current roster of characters, including the recently announced Banana Guard and The Joker, the latter of which is voiced by Mark Hamill<\/a>. Two more characters appeared alongside the Clown Prince of Crime, bumping up the roster from 25 to 27 with horror icon Jason Voorhees and The Matrix villain Agent Smith joining the fray.<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been an exciting yet busy couple of months<\/a> for developer Player First Games since they “temporarily removed” MultiVersus from digital storefronts. The game, which had been in Open Beta until June 2023<\/a>, reemerged on social media in March 2024, announcing a full release date of 28th May 2024 for console and PC.<\/span><\/p>\n
