SURPRISE! A new Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree trailer is about to drop imminently, with the game’s official X<\/a> (formally Twitter) account announcing that the world premiere of the story trailer will drop today at 15:00 UTC. For those of you who are terrible with timezones, that’s 8 AM Pacific \/ 11 AM Eastern \/ 3 PM UTC or 4PM for those in the UK. In short, when the timer runs out on the countdown clock above you’re good to go.<\/p>\n

Also, our deepest condolences to Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2<\/a>, who only managed half a day of conversation before the big bad Elden Ring came to steal the limelight and trample on those interesting review discussions.<\/p>\n
As for what you can expect, Bandai Namco hasn’t given anything away, but we wouldn’t hold our breath for any further gameplay footage<\/a>. Elden Ring’s first story trailer<\/a> was very much a CGI fest. It looked great but wasn’t packing much in the way of gameplay. So whilst you might spot a few hints and teasers at new bosses coming to the game in today’s trailer, it’s more likely to be a tone-setter, rather than giving everything away.<\/p>\n
Thankfully, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree launches<\/a> next month on June 21, so we don’t have to wait that much longer before we get our hands on the DLC expansion. <\/p>\n
