Originally toted as the tournament underdog, American esports team beastcoast have made it to their first Major Grand Finals, after decimating crowd favorite Team Liquid at the R6 Manchester Major 2024<\/a> Semifinals.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the match, beastcoast’s Shaun “Gunnar” Pottorff noted that he had never made it past the Semifinals stage in a Major, having been knocked out with previous team Soniqs in both the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen 2023 and BLAST R6 Major Atlanta 2023. Gunnar joined beastcoast in March 2024.<\/p>\n

During yesterday’s Quarterfinals, beastcoast managed to topple Brazilian team FaZe Clan in a devastating 0 : 2 win.
