How To Find The Hidden Underwater Biome in ARK Survival Ascended The Center<\/span><\/h2>\n

The underwater biome can be reached by heading to the body of water found at coordinates Lat: 44.7 Long: 53.1<\/strong>. Before you venture in, make sure you’re leveled up enough with Oxygen as you’ll be swimming for a bit, and ensure you’re armed, as there are some piranhas in your path. Once you’re ready, jump into the water and head towards the large hole in the center of the lake.<\/p>\n

Swim down this tunnel and then back up to reach a small air-filled cavern. Be cautious as there’s a steep hole here. This hole is the main access point for the underwater biome, so be ready to jump down (don’t worry, you’re jumping into the water, so you’ll survive), or you can bring a flying tame to descend.<\/p>\n

Jumping down will land you in a large body of water, marking your arrival in the underwater biome. This expansive area underneath The Center contains plenty of resources like trees and rocks for harvesting, and flat lands for building, and the deep and wide water is perfect for all the aquatic tames you want.<\/p>\n

This area can serve as an ideal base for these reasons. When retrofitted with turrets<\/a> for defense and roaming dinos, it can become the most impregnable base for PvP engagements. Alternatively, in PvE, this can be the perfect home with its always-tropical weather, nicely tucked away to avoid any dinos following you back and killing your tames.<\/p>\n

It also has cave systems that branch outwards, filled with areas for building and rich with resources. These caves form a network providing various entrances and exits for the biome. While managing these paths can be tricky if you’re defending the inner biome from enemies, you can lay traps or block them off completely to secure certain routes in and out of the biome.<\/p>\n
