However, the boss fight on this ARK is unique in that it&rsquo;s a double boss fight, pitting you against both the Megapithecus and Broodmother Lysrix at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>This is a tough fight even for a group of players, but it&#8217;s not impossible to do it solo either. So, if you&rsquo;re planning on taking this boss on alone, we have you covered. Below, we&rsquo;ll give you the best tips and a detailed breakdown of how to solo the Broodmother and Megapithecus bosses on The Center map of ARK: Survival Ascended.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"mcetoc_1i05i9o7l3\">ARK Survival Ascended Solo Broodmother &amp; Megapithecus Boss Guide | The Center<\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Our approach for this fight works whether you&#8217;re in a group or going solo against the Broodmother and Megapithecus (but for this guide, we&#8217;ll focus on solo play). As for weapons, you can choose any high-level weapon obtained <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/ark-survival-ascended\/ark-survival-ascended-best-location-for-blueprint-farming-the-center\">via blueprints, which can be fished from around The Center.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Once you have your Procoptodon and weapons ready, head into the boss arena. As soon as you and the bosses spawn, immediately start jumping. This is crucial because the bosses will start attacking you right away. This boss is more aggressive and will actively chase you than the Broodmother, so you need to take him down first.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The first tip is to watch out for the boulders he throws as these are aimed at you in his line of sight, but since his line of sight comes from his chest, it&#8217;s a bit lower, meaning if you stand a bit towards the back of the ledge, the boulders will hit the section you&#8217;re standing on and bounce off.
