In an incredible upset, G2 Esports won Team Spirit&#8217;s map pick, with TaZ standing in with a final score of 13-8!<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1i07674tqa\">Spirit vs. G2 Map 2 Dust2<\/h3>\n<p>On G2&#8217;s map pick of Dust2, they started on the T side and managed to win the pistol round after a plant on the infamous B site. Then, Spirit pulled back two rounds to end the first half with an 8-4 lead.<\/p>\n<p>With Spirit on the T side in the second half of Dust2, they got a few early picks in the pistol round. However, Wiktor &#8220;TaZ&#8221; Wojtas got 3 kills and beat Dmitriy &#8220;sh1ro&#8221; Sokolov in a 1v1 to win the pistol round. Despite G2&#8217;s best efforts and some close calls, Spirit extended their lead to 11-7.<\/p>\n<p>Spirit finished off Dust2 with a final score of 13-7, forcing the need for a deciding third map, Anubis.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1i07674tqb\">G2 vs. Spirit Map 3 Anubis<\/h3>\n<p>On the third and deciding map, G2 Esports started off on the T side and took the pistol round in dramatic fashion, with the bomb blowing up Spirit&#8217;s AWPer, Dmitriy &#8220;sh1ro&#8221; Sokolov. (Picture: BLAST Premier)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In their first gun round, Team Spirit swept G2 under the rug without losing one player but pushed a bit too far and lost the 4th round against G2&#8217;s half-buy.<\/p>\n<p>Despite some taunting from G2&#8217;s coach on the server, Team Spirit kept their cool and pushed back once again, claiming the 5th round and, in the 6th round, converted one against G2&#8217;s half-buy this time around, tying up the score 3-3.<\/p>\n<p>With a strong economy, Spirit started to run away with the first half of Anubis, winning five in a row before G2 pulled one back.
