Behaviour teased that July&#8217;s new character <strong>&#8220;truly embodies the meaning of Survivor,&#8221; <\/strong>which is a perfect description for Croft, too. Not only is Croft known for surviving in the wake of all the threats that come her way, the reboot trilogy is even known as the Survivor Trilogy.<\/p>\n<p>While many speculate that Lara Croft is likely the next survivor, that&#8217;s not the only theory. Some believe that it could be <strong>a character from The Walking Dead, such as Daryl Dixon<\/strong>. In a teaser, the Dead by Daylight team hinted at an &#8220;impending zombie apocalypse,&#8221; perhaps suggesting that Dixon will be the next survivor. In the past, Norman Reedus, who plays Dixon, has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/dead-by-daylight\/the-walking-dead-daryl-dixon\">hinted at being a DBD fan on X\/Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"reddit-embed-bq\" style=\"height: 500px;\" data-embed-height=\"666\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/LeaksDBD\/comments\/1cu685a\/potential_teaser_regarding_upcoming_content\/\">Potential Teaser regarding upcoming content (impending zombie apocalypse)<\/a><br \/>by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/user\/TomatoSauce587\/\">u\/TomatoSauce587<\/a> in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/LeaksDBD\/\">LeaksDBD<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/embed.reddit.com\/widgets.js\"><\/script>\n<\/p>\n<p>For now, it&#8217;s not confirmed as to who the next licensed Dead by Daylight survivor will be &#8211; though it seems quite likely it&#8217;ll either be Tomb Raider&#8217;s Lara Croft or The Walking Dead&#8217;s Daryl Dixon.
