However, not all bosses <\/span>need to<\/span> be defeated to complete the DLC; some are main bosses, while others are optional.<\/span><\/p>\n

If <\/span>you’re aiming<\/span> to progress through the DLC by focusing only on the main bosses, or if you <\/span>simply<\/span> want to know which main boss is next on your journey, we’ve got you covered. Below, we will outline <\/span>all of<\/span> the main bosses and their locations in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the <\/span>Erdtree<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

All Main Bosses In Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree<\/span><\/h2>\n

To clear or beat the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC in Elden Ring, you need to defeat <\/span>a total of<\/span> seven main bosses. The goal is to reach the top of the Tower of Shadow<\/a>, and some bosses can be tackled in different orders depending on your preference. Here’s a breakdown of all seven main bosses you’ll need to defeat across Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Divine Beast Dancing Lion<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Rellana, Twin Moon Knight<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Golden Hippopotamus<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Romina, Saint of the Bud<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Messmer the Impaler<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Needle Knight Leda<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Promised Consort Radahn<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Starting with the Divine Beast Dancing Lion is recommended <\/span>as it serves<\/span> as a skill check for the DLC. There are other optional bosses you can take on first to prepare yourself, but defeating the Lion is essential.<\/span><\/p>\n

    After the Lion, you’ll need to clear the Sealing Tree, which requires defeating Rellana, Twin Moon Knight. However, to clear the tree, you need Messmer’s Kindling, obtainable only by defeating Messmer the Impaler.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Once the Lion is down, you can <\/span>choose to<\/span> defeat either Rellana or Messmer first (Rellana is recommended as Messmer is a tougher fight).
