Rumours about “AAA Skyrim-like RPG” from Obsidian turned out to be true, and today during the Xbox Game Showcase Obsidian Entertainment finally revealed their latest project – Avowed.<\/p>\n

Avowed is a first-person RPG set in the world of Eora.<\/p>\n

If that name sounds familiar, that’s because it is the world of Pillars of Eternity games, so the game will be set in the same universe, but probably not in the same timeline and it will not have any connections with the story from Pillars of Eternity and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.<\/p>\n

The game is probably in its early stages of development and it will not bee ready until at least late 2021. What we do know is that it will be PC and Xbox Series X exclusive.<\/p>\n

We currently have no other information about the game except what we can see in the trailer, and, well, there’s not much to tell there.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, the trailer looks great and we can’t wait to find out more details about the game!<\/p>\n
