After this achievement, FromSoftware likely shifted its focus back to Elden Ring for the Shadow of The Erdtree DLC, leaving fans not expecting any new information about Armored Core 6 and its future <\/span>just yet<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, recent rumors suggest that there might be new developments for the franchise, including the possible release of an AC6 DLC. In this article, we’ll discuss everything we know about this possibility and whether an Armored Core 6 DLC <\/span>is likely to<\/span> happen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Armored Core 6 DLC Rumors Heat Up As FromSoftware Lists A New Job Vacancy<\/h2>\n

In a recent report from a user on tech4gamers<\/a>, FromSoftware has posted a job listing that has been traced back to Armored Core 6. Based on this listing, it seems likely that it could be for an AC6 DLC. However, there are opposing perspectives to consider before making that assumption (more on that later).<\/span><\/p>\n

The listing <\/span>specifically<\/span> mentions under the “responsibilities” section that they require a developer well-versed in designing and texturing “characters of robots.” FromSoftware only has one IP that features robots: Armored Core. While this is still unconfirmed, it makes sense that a DLC would be the next step, given the initial release of the game did quite well despite being a lesser-known IP from FromSoftware.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, last year, mentions of a DLC were found within Armored Core 6 files. Insider Zullie revealed<\/a> that “a handful of lines in Armored Core 6’s message text” referenced a DLC. Messages such as “710000 DLC parts have been deactivated,” “710030 Change in DLC ownership status has altered AC assembly,” and more were spotted, suggesting a possible DLC specifically.<\/span><\/p>\n
