After the successful first TFT global LAN in Las Vegas, this year the event is heading to Macao. It will be held from December 13 to 15, with $300K prize pool, Tactician’s Belt, and the winner’s title on the line.<\/p>\n

The Macao Open will feature the Main Event and various Side Events for TFT players. The Main Event will see 512 competitors start on Day 1, with one winner emerging on Day 3, competing on Set 13. On the other hand, Side Events will be available for players not participating in the Main Event, and will include modes like Normals, 4v4, Mastermind (a 1v1 mode with each player controlling 4 PCs at one), and exclusive game modes.<\/p>\n

Players will initially be seeded based on their Set 12, Magic n’ Mayhem ranking. After
Round 1, players will be seeded via snake draft based upon the points they earn
throughout the tournament.<\/p>\n

The format for the Macao Open has been updated to include an additional round on Days 1 and 2. On Day 2, the top 4 players will advance at the end of each round, instead of top 2.<\/p>\n
