{"id":6564,"date":"2020-07-24T17:16:23","date_gmt":"2020-07-24T17:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/halo-infinite-launch-without-multiplayer-rumour"},"modified":"2024-07-19T09:54:50","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T09:54:50","slug":"halo-infinite-launch-without-multiplayer-rumour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/halo-infinite-launch-without-multiplayer-rumour","title":{"rendered":"343 Industries shuts down claims Halo Infinite will launch without multiplayer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After receiving a mixed reception at the Xbox Games Showcase, it appeared there could have been more problems brewing for Halo Infinite&rsquo;s launch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to a YouTube video from tech industry reporter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xvy-C211M6M&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=721\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Brad Sams<\/a>, later shared by industry analyst <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Nibellion\/status\/1286684027039166468\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Nibel on Twitter<\/a>, Halo Infinite was set to&nbsp;launch this fall without its multiplayer component.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;One source is saying that multiplayer isn&rsquo;t going to be shipping with single-player this fall,&rdquo; Brad says regarding Halo Infinite.<\/p>\n<p>This however has since been shut down by a Microsoft spokesperson to <strong>GINX Esports TV<\/strong>, who stated: &ldquo;Halo Infinite&rsquo;s campaign and multiplayer will be shipping together at launch, ensuring our players get the full experience.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div data-oembed-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ske7ch\/status\/1286705927568023552\">\n<blockquote align=\"center\" class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Nothing to see here folks, this is not true.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Brian Jarrard (@ske7ch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ske7ch\/status\/1286705927568023552?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 24, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>343 Industries community director, Brian Jarrard also shut down the claims on Twitter, writing: &ldquo;Nothing to see here folks, this is not true.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>While untrue in this case, it&rsquo;s a trend which isn&rsquo;t unheard of; Rockstar released Red Dead Redemption II and Grand Theft Auto V with delayed multiplayer offerings, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/video-games\/cyberpunk-2077-delayed-again-november\">Cyberpunk 2077<\/a> is also set to receive multiplayer after its launch in November.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Halo Infinite\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/_nbLauPN40l5SWJpjAosoEFXnDg2N63f0MdbACj5NcM\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL2hhbG9faW5maW5pdGVfbWFpbl9uZXcuanBn\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 338px;\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" loading=\"lazy\"><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size:11px;\">Halo Infinite met a mixed reception&nbsp;(Picture: Microsoft)&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Unlike those titles however, the Halo franchise is defined by its multiplayer.
