The event met with constant tech issues resulting in heavy delays mid game.<\/p>\n<p>Soon after the first game of the day started, the electricity went out, which was followed by internet connection disrupted as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This resulted in The MongolZ vs True Rippers, which was a BO1, getting over after three hours. The other matches of the day didn&#8217;t even take place and were postponed to July 24.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Skyesports Championship 2024 Update:<\/p>\n<p>We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen technical issues and despite our best efforts to address them, we have decided to postpone the matches to Day 2 (July 24).<\/p>\n<p>Our team is diligently working to resolve these issues and will bring&hellip;<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Skyesports (@skyesportsintl) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/skyesportsintl\/status\/1815735762765390317?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 23, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script><br \/>\nThese were not the only issues faced by teams participating in the event. Before the event began, Ozzny shared a video of Magnojez from BetBoom showing the dirty practice rooms teams had, highlighting the broken tables, unactivated windows, and more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">CS2 Pro &#8216;Magnojez&#8217; shared the conditions of the practice rooms for the Skyesports CS2 tournament in India &#127470;&#127475; <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not looking good &#128556;<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uJBR2zJrm0\">pic.twitter.com\/uJBR2zJrm0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Ozzny (@Ozzny_CS2) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Ozzny_CS2\/status\/1815495266209870244?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 22, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script><br \/>\nTweeting about the whole situation, XANTARES from Eternal Fire said, &#8220;<em>I have never seen such a bad tournament in my life, the PCs are extremely bad, there were nails on the tables, now the electricity goes out first, then the internet goes out, it&#8217;s a disgrace.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Another video was shared by CS2CIS, revealing that practice PCs were taken away from them without any explanation or warning.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">r3salt: &#8220;If I understood correctly, we can only play official matches and no practicing from now&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; CIS CS2 NEWS (@CS2CIS) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CS2CIS\/status\/1815778447542677636?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 23, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script><br \/>\nApart from this, Magnojez also asked other players to log out of the Steam accounts to secure the private information.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>It is obvious that practice room is a personal zone for teams, where printed analtics\/strategies are located, and the guys go there without warning, take out computers, monitors and put dirty things on the carpets<\/em>,&#8221; said Magnojez.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, BetBoom has withdrawn from the event due to &#8220;<em>unmet promised conditions and unsuccessful attempts to resolve issues with the organizers.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>We believe that fair competition requires a level playing field for all teams, which is currently not the case<\/em>,&#8221; the official statement by BetBoom said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kfwOiOq9XV\">pic.twitter.com\/kfwOiOq9XV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; BetBoom Team (@BetBoomTeam) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BetBoomTeam\/status\/1815791293047439552?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 23, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n<script src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async><\/script><br \/>\nApart from Skyesports postponing the matches to Day 2, no other statement has been given by them regarding the current situation of the tournament.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Skyesports Championship 2024, which was supposed to be the biggest CS2 event held in India, is off to a problematic start.
