ARK Survival Ascended<\/a> has achieved significant success through its proprietary maps, but the game’s overall experience has also been influenced by mod maps like Fjodur and Svartalfheim. <\/span>The developer behind these mod maps has <\/span>now unveiled a new map for ARK Survival Ascended<\/span> called Astraeos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although details about Astraeos are still limited, we have some initial information to share. Stay tuned as we introduce you to Astraeos, the upcoming premium mod map for ARK Survival Ascended.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prolific Map Creator Nekatus Unveils Astraeos, a New Map for Ark Survival Ascended<\/h2>\n

Nekatus, the prolific creator of ARK maps such as Fjordur<\/a> and Svartalfheim, is working on a <\/span>brand<\/span> new map for ARK Survival Ascended called Astraeos. This new map will be available in <\/span>its<\/span> premium form towards the end of 2024. However, a free test version is expected to be released in the coming months, according to the ASA developer blog post.<\/span><\/p>\n

Astraeos is themed around mythology and features impressive mountain ridges and marble-like cliffs. The map includes white sandy beaches and a picturesque sakura biome filled with cherry blossoms<\/span>—a feature that<\/span> promises to shine with the enhanced graphical fidelity now possible in ARK Survival Ascended. Additionally, players can anticipate encountering new creatures and enemies on this map.<\/span><\/p>\n

The developer’s post<\/a> also teases the presence of a formidable miniboss and several smaller caves to explore, each with its own set of exciting new adversaries. Players will not only face these challenges but will also be able to dress their characters in new official custom cosmetic armor skins. This addition will allow players to embark on an epic journey through Astraeos and uncover its legendary secrets.<\/span><\/p>\n
